After applied, upper lip is free to allow coughing during sleep. Strips can be
adjusted by pulling cheek sections away from cheeks and reapplying them.
All strips must be applied to obtain a “comfortably tight” mouth closed position.
You should be able to mumble but not speak clearly after strip applied!!
TIP: Fold over a corner of the strip to have a little tab to grab for easy removal.
READ AND YOU WILL PREVENT SKIN IRRITATION
IF SKIN SENSITIVE: Do one or more of following before applying the strip:
a.
Do not wash the natural oil off your face before applying the strip and/or
b. apply strip to palm of your hand and remove it one or more times and/or
c. apply medicated ointment to cheeks and chin and rub in until not slippery.
REMOVING WHITE STRIPS:
Step in shower. Run warm water on the strip for 20 seconds. Then peel off.
OR with warm wet wash cloth, SOAK the strip for 20 seconds. Then peel off.
REMOVING TAN STRIPS: Peel off slowly. Press on skin under strip when removing. DO NOT use warm water to remove. If you do, adhesive residue will remain on face.

I found that using Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing treatment before putting on the strips (about an hour before) virtually eliminates the problem with
the adhesive. I use the tan strips. I thought I would share the info.

Easy Application Directions - all strips.
First, Cheek Tabs are applied - Fig. A below.
Next, hold cheek tabs with "index" fingers - Fig. A.
Next, use middle fingers & thumbs to pull Chin Section away from lips.
Next, say the word "UP" and hold position - Fig. B.
Then press the Chin Section on the Chin - Fig C.

CUSTOMER TIPS: COMFORTABLE SLEEP with CHIN-UP STRIPS
FIRST NIGHT customers should apply the strip 30 minutes before going to bed. Perhaps while watching TV or reading.
After breathing comfortably through the nose during the 30 minute test period, you will feel comfortable falling asleep with the Chin-Up Strip applied.
Customers suggest using Saline nasal spray during the test period or at bedtime to hydrate the nasal passages and/or apply a Breathe Right nasal strip to enlarge nasal passage openings for easier nasal breathing.
If a customer cannot breathe comfortably through the nose during the 30
minute test, we recommend he or she see an ENT specialist to correct
their nasal breathing problems before using Chin-Up Strips.
If breathing is comfortable during the 30 minute test, welcome to a new world of “enjoying more good nights and great days” for you and your mate.
Nasal passages often alternate between open and closed during sleep.
Normal nasal breathing will keep one nasal passage open during sleep
for normal air supply.
Anytime colds or allergies or sinus infections or injuries obstruct nasal passages, be sure to perform the 30 minute test for comfortable breathing before going to sleep for the entire night with a Chin-Up Strip applied.
